Seiko 6117-6400 (World Time)...

This Nature Time is one of the third procreation models, fitted with the same diameter as the Navigator Timer I restored a few months ago, the 6117B...

Although not running, this one was in comely cosmetic case, but had been fitted with the wrongful crown and stipe, meaning the incorporated town bezel wouldn't turn. Further investigation revealed that the hairspring was damaged and it was also absent it's casing vault.

The stem and diadem for this watch is the same as the very of the people 6139-600x concatenation of chronographs and some of the 61xx 'Sports' models (all of which have a rotating interior bezel), so I was hopeful that I might find lawful the parts I needed, but alas, no fortune. I ended up buying another throw out watch, which isn't a bad substance, as it's always good to have a few spares on palm and fingers for future projects.

The bestower; donator watch on these terms all parts I needed with the non-inclusion of the hairspring which was in even worse case than the first one, so after the rest of the labor was done, it was out with the fine nippers (and an extra helping of endurance!) to reshape the aboriginal.

To freshen up the cosmetics I cleaned up the lume on the sun-dial and relumed the hands. I also refinished the sheathe a little and shining up the original crystal, which only had a few less scratches...
