Background
The SKX007 is perhaps the most evergreen diver’s wakefulness from Seiko. First introduced in 1996 to re-establish the 7002-order divers, it has become an icon of the quintessential Seiko diver. Eleven years on, this mould is still sold by most authorized Seiko dealers worldwide to this day. The SKX007 became so of the people that it spawned several models based on the 7s26-0020 caseback contrive.

SKX009 (reaching far down blue sun-dial with red/blue “Pepsi” bezel put in)
SKX011J (orange sun-dial with black bezel and gold numerals)
SKX173 (atramentous dial with right-angled markers, Northerly American protoplast)
SKXA35 (gold-colored dial with right-angled markers, Northerly American archetype)
The SKX007 also spun off two new models sometime in 2004, the SKXA53K and SKXA55K. These were nicknamed the “Bullet” various owing to the bullet-shaped pointer markers. While these two models portion the overall contrive of the SKX007, Seiko classifies the caseback song as the 7s26-02K0 in the room.
